Youth Education
Grades 1-6
Immaculate Conception provides opportunities for students in grades 1-6 for religious formation on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Classes are held in the elementary school building and begin shortly after Labor Day running through the first week in May. Students learn about our Catholic faith and Tradition along with opportunities to experience Christian Service. Our catechists are deeply committed to their Catholic faith and have a great desire to share that faith through a wide variety of opportunities. First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are joyfully experienced in the second grade. Grades 7-12
Immaculate Conception provides opportunities for students in grades 7-12 for religious formation on Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. Classes are held in the Parish Activity Center (PAC) located across the street from the church and begin shortly after Labor Day running through the first week in May. Confirmation is experienced during the tenth grade year. Formation classes for this wonderful sacrament are held on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:45 a.m. Students learn about our Catholic faith and Tradition along with opportunities to experience Christian Service. Our catechists are deeply committed to their Catholic faith and have a great desire to share that faith through a wide variety of opportunities. Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held in June after school is finished. Every year a theme with biblical scriptures for each day is picked for VBS. (Some themes have been bugs, construction, saints, Jesus’ life). The sessions are usually from Tuesday through Friday in the mornings. Volunteers willingly share their faith and fun learning experiences with all the children in preschool through fifth grade. Volunteers/helpers are 11 to 99 years of age. All children are welcome to attend.
Preschool Sunday School
Sunday School is for Preschool ages 3-6 with kindergarten. A teaching, creative and caring way of expressing and sharing God’s love to children is our theme. Classes are held from September to April during the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
