Please extend your farewell’s to Heather Dicus as she transitions to Holy Rosary as their new School Secretary. Heather has been a great asset to IC over the past year and we thank her for the great service she provided us at IC Parish. We wish her well in this new position.
We are happy to announce that Kati Heckler will be our new IC Parish Secretary effective July 31, 2023. While many of you likely know Kati, we wanted to share the following:
I grew up on a Farm northwest of Celina with my parents and 5 sisters. On our farm, we raised sheep which we exhibited through 4-H at the Mercer County Fair. In 2000 I married Matt Heckler and we have raised 3 boys who have all been blessed to attend IC School. Growing up I attended Mt Carmel Church of God, in 2006 I completed the RCIA program and joined Immaculate Conception Church. I am currently the secretary for the Religious Education Commission and am the Chairperson for the IC school Carnival. Our Family Enjoys helping run the Showdown Poker stand at the festival. Volunteering is very important to our family.
I have been in banking for 21 years at The Peoples Bank in several different positions including a Teller, Loan Processor, and Customer Service Representative. I have enjoyed serving the community through the banking industry, but I am looking forward to a change and an opportunity to serve the Parish.
