I.C. parishioners are the Hands and Feet of God by welcoming visitors and new parishioners to our I.C. family. Newcomer visitation is a wonderful way to connect with new parishioners and visitors. Members of the Welcoming and Casserole and Kindness Ministries say that after delivering a welcome bag or a casserole to a new parishioner, long-term acquaintances are made. When newcomers and those who have received casseroles are seen at church or parish functions, friendships are renewed. A Confirmation candidate helped make a casserole for a new parishioner and went along to deliver the casserole. Later, the newly welcomed parishioner commented about how much the “Confirmation” noodles were enjoyed.
